o⋅be⋅di⋅ence—noun
1. the state or quality of being obedient.
2. the act or practice of obeying; dutiful or submissive compliance: Military service demands obedience from its members.
When I was thinking of what I wanted to concentrate on this year, the thought that kept coming to mind was action. What word would call us to action? What would make us want to do more than occupy a pew on Sunday morning? Being obedient to God. He calls us to do more than be a seat-warmer. Matthew 28:19-20 says to GO and make disciples. Sunday evenings we will be studying to book of Acts, to help us get an idea of what the Church should look like. On Wednesday evenings, our Bible Study will be on the book of Romans, showing us what the Christian life should look like.
